Pricing Websites can be exceptionally difficult to calculate . Before I can evaluate any Web design project, I need to determine what it will entail. A website cost will depend on the complexity of the site, the range could be from $400 to $3000 or more.

Site Theme Design
Individual Page Design
Original Graphics and/or working with Photos
Programming (if applicable)
Marketing Strategy

Site Theme Design

A Theme design is developed for the entire site. Theme's include original graphic and/or style design, layout and the site navigation, which are consistent on all pages. Estimate for a small starter website range between $500 - $1,000. Larger sites which also include advanced text layouts & arrangements start at $1,000 and go up depending on size and other considerations.

Individual Page Design

For very small sites where you only need a few pages. Generally these pages include both simple graphics and text layout. Estimate per page $140 to $190

If pages are being added or updated on an existing site, the estimated cost would be $35 per hour or $80 per page. Again this depends on how detailed a page is with photos, graphics and programming which would increase the time per page.

Original Graphics and/or working with Photos

Graphic complexity depends on your needs, simple graphics are very inexpensive where custom graphics would need to be discussed before I could give you an estimate.

When I'm working with a large number of photos, I find it less expensive If I charge $35 per hour. With high quality photos a large number of photos can be enhanced for use on the site with in a short period of time ... poor quailty photos can be much more time consuming.

Programming (if applicable)

Programming would consist of scripts for navigation, forms, shopping carts etc. Programming also includs developing a database for products, PHP JS and CGI scripts, flash, etc. Again, estimates can be given after having all the necessary information from you, the client.

Marketing Strategy

There is a lot of information on the WWW for those interested in learning about developing a marketing strategy for you site and product/service. Part of developing a site is understanding the marketing principles for the WWW, which is completely than print media. I have a strong background in both WWW marketing and the real world marketing, I work with my clients to help them develop the best strategy for their sites needs.
